Privacy Policy
In short: InFocus collects no data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and the app does not connect to the internet.
Who makes InFocus
InFocus is made and published by Franklin Guevara, an independent developer (“I”). If you have a question about this policy, write to support@infocustempo.com.
What is collected
Nothing. I do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any personal information or usage data. The app contains no analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or other third-party software, and it makes no network requests.
What stays on your iPhone
To work, the app keeps the following only on your device:
- Your presets and favorites
- Your session history: start and end times, timer type, rounds, notes and the optional intention you type
- Your settings, such as sounds, voice, haptics and daily goal
- The timer that is currently running, so it can continue after the app is closed
I cannot see this information. It is included in your iPhone backups, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy, and it is deleted when you delete the app.
Permissions the app asks for
- Alarms: so the end of a focus block, a break or a workout rings with your iPhone locked or in Silent mode. Alarms are scheduled on your device.
- Notifications: only if you decline alarms, to alert you at the same moments.
- Live Activities: to show the running timer on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
- Siri and Shortcuts: if you use them, Apple processes your voice request; the app only receives which timer to start.
The app does not use your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or health data.
Exporting your history
If you choose Settings → Export history, the app creates a CSV file and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes next is up to you.
Children
Because the app collects no information from anyone, it collects none from children.
Changes
If a future version changes what the app does with data, I will update this page and its effective date before that version is released.
